Delete your account and data

You can delete your Mantle account at any time, in the app.

Delete in the app

Open Settings in Mantle.
Tap Delete account.
Confirm with your passkey. The server’s records are removed at once, and the widgets on your iPhone are erased. This cannot be undone.

What gets deleted from the server

Your account.
Your passkey credentials and sessions.
Your OAuth grants and tokens. OAuth client records (client id, redirect addresses and client name) are not tied to an account and are cleaned up separately.
Your device registration.
Pending encrypted items for your phone.
Your encrypted backup.
Your widget ids and dashboards.
Your share membership, invites and offers, and connections.
Your delivery records.

Install attribution data held by AppsFlyer is not tied to your account and is not removed by account deletion; it expires under AppsFlyer’s retention.

A nightly database dump is kept off the server: daily copies for at most 14 days and a weekly copy for at most 40 days. It holds the same records as the server, including a sealed backup that is unreadable without your key, and a deleted account leaves the dumps as they expire.

Before you delete

The server keeps no readable copy of your widget content; your phone does. To keep a copy, use Export all widgets in Settings first, which writes every widget as one JSON file. Photo images are not in the export, only caption, size and time.

What we cannot reach

Your iCloud device backups, which Apple stores in your iCloud account.
Copies on the phones of people you shared with, and images or files you sent through the system share sheet.
