Terms of service
Last updated 1 November 2026
These Terms govern your use of Mantle (“Mantle”, “we”, “us”), operated by TwelveSuite UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Reinshagener Str. 40, 42857 Remscheid, Germany: the app for iPhone and iPad, its server and this website (the “Service”). By using Mantle, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Mantle is
Mantle is a personal dashboard on your iPhone that an AI client you connect can fill. It shows what your AI sends and what you create on the phone. Mantle integrates with no data source and supplies no content of its own. It does not check whether what your AI sends is accurate, and it is not a provider of medical, fitness, financial or legal advice.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 and able to form a binding contract. If you use Mantle on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind it to these Terms.
3. Your account and passkey
You sign in with a passkey. You are responsible for keeping your device and passkey secure and for activity under your account.
4. Your AI client
You choose which AI clients to connect, and you can revoke them in Settings. A connected client can create, read and update widgets on your behalf, and delete widgets it created, within the limits of the Service. You are responsible for what you ask it to do. We are not responsible for your AI client or for the accuracy of what it sends.
5. Sharing
If you share a widget or dashboard, its members see and can interact with it as the app describes. You are responsible for what you share.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Mantle to break the law, infringe others’ rights, harass others, or interfere with or attempt to compromise the Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of your content. You grant us a limited licence to process and transmit it as needed to operate the Service, including delivering it to your devices and to members you share it with.
8. Third-party services
Mantle relies on third parties such as Apple, Cloudflare and your AI provider. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for them.
9. Availability
We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and features may change over time. Your mandatory statutory rights, including any rights in respect of defects (Gewährleistung) and the liability rules in section 10, remain unaffected.
10. Liability
Mantle is liable without limitation for damages caused by intent or gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz), and where we have expressly given a guarantee. For slightly negligent breaches, we are liable only where an essential contractual obligation is breached, meaning an obligation whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose observance you may regularly rely, and such liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract. Any further liability is excluded. These limitations also apply in favour of our legal representatives and agents.
11. Your responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for third-party claims that arise from your culpable breach of these Terms or from your content. This does not apply where you are not responsible for the breach.
12. Termination
You may stop using Mantle and delete your account at any time (how to delete). We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, and disputes will be handled by the courts having jurisdiction for the operator’s registered seat in Remscheid, Germany, except where mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms, for example to reflect new features or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect, in the app, point out that not objecting counts as acceptance, and give you the right to terminate before they apply. Changes that affect the core of the agreement require your active consent. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
